Partnerships – NHL

           

                   Canadian Tire and NHL have teamed up to create what they call “Hockey School.”

             

            What this does is encourages children to get join sports activities and to stay active but this time through a specific sport, hockey. What this does is take you in as a basic player and teach you the fundamentals of hockey and giving you tips through online websites also. Doing so this encourages children, who may not have been as good with ability to want to practice and possibly join this program. Doing this you are keeping your children active and giving them a daily dose of what they may need to keep fit.

             

           A big part of this program is NHL star, Jonathan Toews. The NHL superstar  who many young children look up to, encourages children to go out and play hockey and telling a story of how he bought his first states from Canadian Tire. When you first join, part of the membership kit is that you get a personal welcome from Jonathan Toews.
